What the peak numbers don't tell you is the shape of the curve, which with the M8 the "curve" doesn't even exist. Watch the video and pause it on the dyno chart. Notice the fact that the torque starts over 90ft/lbs at under 2500 rpm and stays above 85lbs all the way to 5000rpm.
The 103 HO curves, while peaking close to the M8 are otherwise pitiful in comparison.
The M8 is gonna feel, and be, much quicker because the "area under the curve" is huge in comparison.
Stock 103 HO run from FM's site:

Nailed it ........... I will eventually upgrade the rear air shocks and the fronts on the tri-glide. Other than that, my '16 is fine.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the stock exhaust note on the M8. Take a listen to the vid below.
Also, as jclax01 mentioned there are Street Cannon slip-ons already available for the M8.

Rode the 107 in the Road Glide Ultra then rode the 114 in the CVO Street glide... they feel like they make so much more power than my 103 it's not funny. The 114 was fun, but not enough to make it worth spending CVO money to me. That nice wide spread on the torque curve is amazing.
