Stock Milwaukee 8: 80.87 hp, 98.55 torque.

Stock 103 HO: 77.66 hp, 92.17 torque.

Both sets of numbers are from Fuel Moto. Not that much of an increase for me to consider a new bike.

The noise alone (or lack of) makes me not want to rush to replace the 2016 Ultra Limited. Maybe aftermarket pipes will do the trick but for now I'm sitting tight even though I can afford it.

But what about the 2-3 bike links the new bike is supposed to pull on an old Rushmore HO?

6.4 lb/ft (7% increase ) of torque can do that? Hmmmmmm.

It's not just about the peak numbers. It's also about all that torque at low RPMs. Compare the actual dyno charts.

Thanks for posting hb, bike is quiet and doesn't seem to shake much at idle, those are a few of the things that interest me. Horsepower and speed, not so much so...

What the peak numbers don't tell you is the shape of the curve, which with the M8 the "curve" doesn't even exist. Watch the video and pause it on the dyno chart. Notice the fact that the torque starts over 90ft/lbs at under 2500 rpm and stays above 85lbs all the way to 5000rpm.
The 103 HO curves, while peaking close to the M8 are otherwise pitiful in comparison.
The M8 is gonna feel, and be, much quicker because the "area under the curve" is huge in comparison.

Stock 103 HO run from FM's site:

And it pulls like that, too!
Just saying'.
Wicked smooth through the gears and particularly seems to me in 3rd and 4th.
Twist and grin.
