Could someone tell me if the 14 ultra limited (Rushmore project) came with a Premium Tour Pak rack or standard tour pack rack. How do I tell the difference between the two? I am sure one is bigger than the other and the only one I have is the one on my bike so now way to compare the two.

Searched catalog, cant find a standard tour pack rack - what is it ? Part # ?

 

I am not sure. I was looking at the T-Bags Dekker II Bag For Harley Street/Tour/Electra Glide and it stated "Harley Davidson Premium Tour Pak rack required - this is not the standard Tour Pak Rack". ????

 

My opinion, which you didn't ask for...

The Dekker II is 27" wide. The luggage rack on my 14 Limited is 20" wide.
For that reason alone, I went with the T-Bag King Bootcase and it fits on the rack like a glove.

 

Baeseman1 I am always open to opinions. Using opinions I am kind of a trial by error kind of guy. I have been doing a lot of research looking at peoples opinions here, Google, etc. I am also aware my rack is 20" which had me in limbo. Reading different post on people whom use the T-bag Dekker II on there tour rack, I only see a couple that had a problem, strap issue, cant see behind with there rear view mirror.


Anyways I did purchase a T-bag Dekker II. I am going to try it out. If it doesn't work I will move on the next one (trial by error).


I am always open to opinions, it gives me something to go by.

I have a Dekker Supreme which is the same size as the Dekker II which replaced it (new model).

Works awesome. It is wide (not too wide) but it fits on the tourpak perfectly - on both my 14 limited and 17 RGU.
Works perfectly and is held in place with pretty beefy adjustable straps. I use it all the time when traveling with the GF.

 

Will the CVO Rack fit on a 2014 Limited?......Would like to add the LED light in the rack.
