Well those baffles ain't what you spose to be running on a stock bike! 3" or the new 3"/2.5" setup

It's what rush recommended with their 7017ho headers on a stock 103ho motor so......

I am running both pipes.

My wife's 15 RGS has the Big Louie. I just put the Jackpots on my 16. My butt dyno feels no difference between the two (Same air and MAP on both) so it comes down to looks and sound. Chrome on the Jackpot might be a tad nicer. The sound of the Louie's have a lower tone...think deep base. I now have 300 plus miles on the Jackpots and they are now lower sounding but not like the Louies. The Jackpots have more impact when you hit it. Like them both.

Thanks for that post. I have never heard the Jackpots. It is one of the few I hadn't tried and was thinking about trying them.

I got the big Louies with what looks like 2" baffles...quieter than I like, but good rumble...playing with the idea of getting the 2.5"/3" split configuration.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread...in fact...nvm I won't; I'll make a new post.

Nah, I had a different question about the Big Louies. HERE And I was saying I didn't want to hijack your thread with a question of my own.

For those interested we recently updated our Jackpot 4" slash up mufflers with some pretty significant changes. They now included baffles which are our new V3 design, they still have a spiral louvered however they now include removable tuning cores which allows user to tailor to their performance and sound requirements. The new mufflers no longer require different baffles (standard, quiet, & competition) as sound & performance is tuned with the included inserts. The new muffler body has a bit different shape at the inlet for a more seamless transition as well. We will be updating the 4" slash down to this same design this summer once we get thru current inventory.

Interested in the new design on the slash ups. If I order, is there any old stock or are they all the v3 design? Is there two different part numbers? (old new)
