Default LED headlamp dust film build up

Greetings all, I'm sure this is an old issue but hoping for some advise. My 2014 EG Ultra Classic has dust film build up in headlamp and passing lamp. Me extended warranty will not cover replacement as considered cosmetic. Has anyone had success getting these replaced, as imo this is a defect. Any experience or advise is appreciated. Thank u.

Some have had them replaced under warranty. Some, like me, could not get the headlamp replaced under warranty. It seems to vary from dealer to dealer for some reason. My fog lights, thank God, haven't fogged up. It always bugged the crap out of me until I got so tired of looking at that fogged up headlamp, I bought a take-off from a member here. Now, I'm happy.

I did get mine replaced under warranty. Mine had powder on the lens and small white granuals at the bottom of the lens. Was told that they had seen it before.
There is a UTube video in which a guy with this problem decided to repair one of his running lights. He found that there two packages of desiccant on the inside and one was leaking white powder.

Thank you for any experience u have had with this issue. I guess I need to call HD directly as the extended warranty is administered by a third party and are useless unless u have a broken or inoperable components. Thanks again.
