Have fun perfectly aligning your jack and strapping your bike down every time you put your bike on it. Don’t worry about it falling off because I’m sure that 12 year old in the Chinese enslavement camp working her 15th hour without a break is an excellent welder. Plus, those American small business owners at J&S and Pit-Bull don’t need your business and are just charging too much for their products.

Arent jack threads fun? ROTFLMAO
Ive actually been riding for about 30 years. Never had to do much more than oil changes, brakes, removing wheels or replacing a cable here and there. I plan to do a little more with this bike. Actually, since Ive had this bike I already replaced pipes, air filter and install the detach tour pak kit, all without a lift.

LOL - I guess I shouldn't mention how I lifted my 05 1200XL when I needed to remove the front wheel..... (used ratchet straps around the forks attached to the garage trusses) so an HF lift would be an upgrade for me.

You can use 2x4's, 4x4's whatever, as long as you are comfortable use whatever.

I normally take half a day changing oil, looking everything over, cleaning etc. so i wanted something that gave me the confidence to crawl under and around the bike, loosening, removing , tightening etc.

But consider the old British idiom Penny wise and pound foolish, and also remember your under, next to, around 900 suspended lbs that you lifted "somehow" off the ground

Not only do I use the HF jack for my Ultra Ltd but it lifts the
front end of my mower for blade changes.

I wouldn't use anything from Harbor Freight that had moving parts (OK, I DID buy a small vise from them years ago..,). J&S for me.

My lift on the zero turn is built in, the bar below the lights extends and then you just drive forward and it lifts the front end about two feet off the ground for maintenance and cleaning the deck, but i can change the blades by just raising the deck, no lift required for that operation.

But it is good to have a lift that can do more than one thing safely.

he still has it and it works without an issue

I have the HF one. Have used it 50+ times easily on my 2015 SGS with no issues. No it's not as stable as the famous J&S but it does the job for me and it was a fraction of the cost. Mainly use it for cleaning and oil changes, but I've also replaced both wheels using the HF jack and not one single issue for me. If I had the extra coin back when I got it maybe I'd get a J&S, but no need to swap now until the HF breaks. YMMV
