Just finished installing the kit. I have to say I am VERY pleased with the kit overall. For the most part I found the instructions to be clear & complete.
I did not remove the lowers completely but was only one bolt, the very bottom, away. Although it would be nice to not have to remove the upper clamp on the lower, it has to be done to allow the lower to pivot to the rear far enough to get one out of the torx screws that holds the lower inner to the lower outer.
Overall, it took right at 3 hours to do the job. It probably could be done in under 2 by a motivated individual.
-Suggestions/info based on my experience:
1) The bracket mounting bolts in the kit were the wrong size; I used my originals as the previous poster noted.
2) Save the white wire connector mounting clips off the original bracket, they are needed on the new bracket.
3) Loosen/remove the two bolts that hold the coolant down-tubes to the frame when attaching the new hoses. It makes it much easier.
4) There are two adhesive backed rubber washers in the kit that I still don't know where they are supposed to go so they're sitting on my bench. I don't know if I missed something or if it's an HD error.
5) I used Knipex brand ear clamp pliers for the clamps & they work well. (Knipex 10 99i 220 Ear Clamp Pliers)
