Default 114 question?

I have a new Road Glide 3 114. It has Vance & Hines Slash Cut 4 inch slip ons and S&S air cleaner. Still has the catalytic converter on it. First Harley I ever left it on. Sometimes when I shut it off it sounds like it's releasing pressure for a couple of seconds. Is that the converter doing that? Never heard that on any of my other bikes. Or do I need to have it looked at? Thanks

My 114 did that. No idea what it is, but my 107 didn’t do it, and M-8 cats flow pretty good, so it’s not the cat.

I will however be interested for somebody to expound on what that *sigh* is when I’d shut down the 114. I’ve got another 114 on the way now.

well Harley states their equivalent of performance mufflers and air cleaner requires an ECM calibration with their tuner, so hard to say what foregoing that part of the equation may be affecting your configuration

Sounds like the common air cleaner wheeze to me. Mine will occasionally do it too.

This makes sense.

I failed to mention that I also have a V&H FP4. So it does have a tuner.

I just talked to a Vance & Hines tech and he said it a normal thing the M8's do with high flow air cleaners.
