Default end of a two year relationship

Well, I've been lurking in the touring forums for the last few months, waiting for the right time to join in... I had bought my first Harley, a 2011 FXDF just over two years ago & had a lot of fun on it. But it was time to grow up, and get something that was a little more comfortable for touring than my BMW R1200gs. Called the dealership in Springfield Oregon on Wednesday, told them what I had, What I wanted, and the deal that I expected... sent them pictures of my FXDF, by Thursday I had negotiated a deal, rode down on Friday ( took the BMW as the weather was nasty ), spent a 1/2 hour doing the paper work & became the proud owner of a 2014 FLHTK in vivid black... the dealer had not even had it in stock on Thursday, but managed a trade with another dealer and it was ready to go on Friday...
Since the weather was bad, and it was dark, i didn't want to ride the new bike home, and i still had to arrange to get my trade to the dealer... so they agreed to deliver my new ride & pick up my trade ( over 100 miles away ) to me that Saturday, and deliver they did...this was absolutely the best buying experience i have ever had. Kudos the the Harley dealership in Springfield, Oregon...
And since without pictures it didn't happen, here is a crappy shot with my cellphone, bad lighting due to weather...

Congrats on your new bike. Sounds like your dealer is doing right by you.
I just ordered a 14 King from a dealer 70 miles away and my deal is going down pretty much like yours. Best of luck to ya, and keep us up-dated on your new ride.

Grats on the FLHTK! Can't wait for dry roads myself. Put the bike on a tender and learn what you can of the features. Get yourself a good USB drive and load it up with some tunes.

Touring models, especially the new ones, are a lot better than a FatBob.
You traded up and will be loving it
