Angry Oil Leak

I took my '14 Ultra Limited out yesterday on 60 degree day in NE Pa. I rode down to the dealer shut down the bike and smelled hot oil. Upon inspection I discovered a light coating of oil laying on top of the engine case where trains and engine meet. Also the left side of the engine case protrudes about 3/16" out from the right side of the engine case (like the case halves rotated) were you can see the milled surface of the case. I can not understand how this could possibly be with the bolts and pins aligning the case halves. The service manager and I examined eleven other bikes on the sales floor and the case halves were aligned perfectly. I have a total of 500 miles on the bike. Has anyone else seen this.

I spoke to the service manager on Saturday and it looks like they are replacing the motor. I will know more on Monday. I am hopeful though skeptical.

I'd love to see a picture of that. Strange! Hope they make it right for you.

I think they should drop in a 120R for your troubles.

Sounds like you get to break in a new engine.
