Default dealer scheduled maintenance plan

I bought the first 5 scheduled maintenance plans (oil changes) from my dealer when I bought my bike.
My friend also bought the same plan. I've used it twice with no problems.

My friend had his 2500 mile service done today and called me and said the dealer was charging him $6.50 for shop supplies. wtf? I would not have paid it but he did.
Anyone else being scammed by their stealership?

Yep....my dealer charged me $21 in labor to screw in the short antenna I bought from them.

It's not about if they will steal and lie....but when.

Car dealership also charge a fee for shop supplies very common . I bet if you bring your car in for work look at the bottom line you will see a charge . Some dealerships use a flat fee some charge the fee based on what the total bill is a percentage of how much you spent .

If you don't ask they don't tell some will remove the fee and some won't .

DBLXX...$21 sounds very reasonable if he had to remove the old antenna first. did he also have to dispose of the old one for you? what did he torque that antenna to...i hear they are very easily over-torqued and can lead to all kinds of problems. should have slipped the tech $20 to show your appreciation. it's not every day that you see service that good.
