Just put a new amp and speakers in my 2014
I was one of the first to put an aftermarket amp in the 2014. I originally started with the Rockford Fostgate PBR300x2. Mostly because I was familiar and happy with it from my 2011 SG. It is a great amp. However speakers proved to be more challenging due to design. I ended up with a set of Kickers.
The sound quality was not that great coming from the Kickers. A big let down, although I know a lot of people on the forum swear by them. At first I thought I would just swap the speakers but ultimately decided to go all out.
Focal K2 Power 165KRC Speakers
Focal FD 2.350 Amplifier
I looked everywhere for a bargain and the best I could do is http://soundzcustomz.com. I typically try to avoid anything with z's in the name, but that's who had the best deal.
I will say I am very happy with them. They are friendly to deal with, provide the best price I can find, and configure everything for you.
The Kit was perfect. The amp came pre-wired with proper length and guage speaker wire and heatshrink wrapped 10AWG power wire. All the wire already had proper connectors on them for direct plug into the bike's exisitng wires too. Additionally the amp was oscilliscope tuned on arrival specifically for my model.
The system sounds awesome. Loud and clear highs with filling Mids. As with any 6.5" speaker there is not much that can be done for Bass. If only I could find a spot to hide a low profile 8" sub.
Not sure what I wanted to share here. Other than Soundz Customz is completely worth the money and avoid Kicker speakers. If you want budget speakers I recommend Infinity Kappa 62.9i. I couldn't get them to fit 2014 early on, but more grille options have been figured out since.

I agree, but purchased bike last September and HD was the only amp available at the time. Dealer gave 23% off. I did the install and they did the flash for free.
Lots of choices out there now though!
