I hate to start a new thread but I can't find what I am looking for. Here is the problem. While riding this morning the music stopped. When I looked down and all that I found was the Bar and Shield and the time (It is keeping good time ). I can not change it off this screen. I tried turning off the bike and letting it sit but this screen is displayed even with the switch off. I have tried looking the problem up in the manual but found nothing. HELP

 

Try pulling the main fuse from the panel and letting it set for a few minutes, then put the fuse back. You could disconnect the battery and let it set for a few minutes too. Either one should do the same thing.

 

Sounds to me like the system is turned off. Try turning it on with the power button (also labeled as mute).

 

I tried turning it on with the power button, no dice. It ran my battery down and I had to jump the bike to get it started. The very first time I tried to start it the screen went blank. When I got the bike started I tried to turn the system on but got nothing. No vehicle info, no nothing.

 

Sounds like you got a head unit? Time for a trip to the dealer to get it warranted?
