Default 2014 limited, how many cb channels?

boombox 6.5 shows only a few channels. another 2014 limited rider tells me there is a way to get more channels. I have searched high and low. Can't find the answer. The owner's manual shows the same channels on screen as my bike screen does.

Off the top of my head, all of the other screens have a "more" button on the bottom right side. I can't remember exactly what the CB screen looks like though.

There are 40 channels.

Just like every other CB out there built after 1977.

The display only shows a couple of FM stations too....

The screen displays the memories, not the full list of channels. Those listed can be changed just like memory buttons on your car radio.

You get all CB channels. The screen shows the one you can save in memory.

Just move the left joystick forward or backward one click at a time and it will advance or go back one channel at a time; 1-40. Just as if you're changing radio stations or playlist tracks while those screens are showing. You're seeing just the presets for the CB just as you see presets for radio stations.

OK, I assume this isn't possible, but is there such thing as adding private channels to the CB? We use a few private channels at work and it would be sweet to be able to tune into them.

"Private channels" lol. You mean SSB?(single side band) if so, no.
