Question flash drive rip program?

Hey Folks, what program are you using to rip your music to your flash drive? I used windows media player but I am getting coping errors? Songs are missing play areas or/and looping in certain areas. I remember reading someone posting a program that identifies errors and fixes them but I can not find it with a search. thanks in advance for your help....

If you already have the music on your PC in digital format, you just need to "drag & drop" to the USB drive. You can either drop individual song files to the root of the USB drive, or you can drag & drop whole music folders to the USB drive.

If you don't have the music on your PC in digital format, you can use WMP but set your destination to a folder on the PC hard drive. After ripping to the PC, then "drag & drop" the song files or folder to the USB drive.

What format are the songs currently in?
Do you get the errors when you just play the songs on your PC, are they showing up when you attempt to copy to the USB drive?

As far as programs, there's plenty freeware to choose from.
I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for. I have a pay for program I use for serious stuff.

I would suggest you look at Audacity. It's a decent program once you understand it's capabilities.
FYI, it is more then just a simple copy program, it will allow you to edit, equalize, adjust volume and has plenty of effects available. Disclaimer: It may be more than you're looking for. but I figured it was worth mentioning. I have no financial interest in the program or anything to gain by recommending it.

I've loaded various tunes that had different volume levels, matched them and then saved them to my flash drives.

Thanks, I used WMP and downloaded to my computer. Then I used WMP to transfer songs to my flash drive, for some reason on the transfer the files of some songs have been corrupted. The songs show up on the flash drive and play but some skip like old records did or they kinda stutter. I was just wondering what others were using and trying one of those.

Don't use WMP to transfer from the PC to USB; a simple drag & drop will work just fine & will be faster.

Same as above---just use the windows media utility---rip them to the pc Harddrive and then drop and drag from pc Directory/folder to the thumb drive. Works well for me---
Good luck.

I use Ashampoo Burning Studio 15. I have ripped over 2900 songs for my bike's flash drive. I rip all the songs at 320 bitrate kbit/s and 44100 Hz. sample rate.

I had songs from decades back to the 80's from CD's. Many of these songs I had didn't have the titles, artists, and album art. Even when ripping from CD's many times the older ones only had the songs listed at track xx.

I tired audicty, didn't like it. I then bought Wondershare Streaming Audio Recorder. This program you can load your current files, corrects errors and will search for the meta data and then make the whole file a MP3 file to save where you tell it to. Then just drag and drop.

I can even let it work in the back ground or over night away from the computer. Super easy to use.
