I'm having difficulty figuring out how to reposition the map icon on the screen, either when routing or not. I can use the arrows or touchscreen to move the icon, but it only stays moved for a few seconds before switching back to the center position. Any way to move it so that it stays repositioned to where I put it. Appreciate any insight out there.

 

No. Default is to have bike positioned centered. As mentioned, you can temporarily scan elsewhere on the map, but there is no way to lock it down to that other position. It will always return back to that default (bike center of map) after short time of map no longer being tapped.

FWIW, after tapping the map and getting the directional arrows, you can either tap an arrow to reposition, or use left joystick.
