Default Front plug wire

Ok I confess, I am super lazy today. The service manual is in the garage and my keyboard is right here. So my question is,,,,, How big of a deal is it to replace the front plug wire on a 2014 Limited. I have the infamous tank rub that was spose to be fixed way back at the 1K check up but I noticed yesterday that it is still rubbing and has a big dent in it.

I think you have to pull the tank.

You don't pull the gas tank.Just unplug and You have to cut some cable ties.Plug the new one in and attach new cable ties.

Slit a piece of hose to fit over plug wire where it rubs tank if it isn't arching. If your going ahead and replace it,put a piece of hose over the new wire to protect it from rubbing.

Just bend the the plug boot a little more. This is a real easy fix, don't over think it.

It's real easy to replace the plug cables. And, they are cheap from the factory, less than $20 for a set, as I recall. It is easier to do pulling the tank off first, and pulling the tank is pretty easy, too. Service manual has the whole procedure laid out. It is so easy, and cheap, that I'll probably replace them every time I replace plugs, which is called for at 30k mile intervals.
