Too much road construction to ever get totally rid of that error. I get it in my truck and car also. The best way to avoid it is to use Google maps on your phone and blue tooth it through the radio. I have never once had it send me the wrong way or give this type of error. It is the most accurate and up to date GPS.

Razorback I didn't think about blue tooth to my phone. I would imagine that all you would get is the voice command and not the display. However it is a good idea since there isn't anything else one can do.

Correct, however I have my phone mounted on the right side of handle bar in a Ram x mount and I can glance at it and see upcoming turns, etc.

We use it for our music source also via Bluetooth.

Just an option.

Google maps and bluetooth works for the absolute quickest route, but the google app won't let you drag and drop a specific route. The only time I take absolute quickest way is when the amount of daylight left in the day is disappearing quicker than planned (I don't like night time critters) or in an emergency, so it's very rare.

I have used Sygic in the past. It's a bit cumbersome to do, but it will let you drag and drop the route. It uses TomTom maps. What's nice too is you can download the map(s) for the specific state(s) you are riding in (instead of all of NA), saving space on your phone. This also allows for continued navigation when network services are not available.

While we are complaining.. How many of you have seen the turn-by-turn point one way on the display while the voice command says to turn another way?

My wife thought I was nuts until she saw/heard it too.

I've seen it may times but the nice thing is that if you make the wrong turn, the system quickly tells you to make a U-turn.

It will say MY2017. But, if you go into the navigator and look at the software,

you will have the map from 9-10-2014

after you check it, you will see that you have been scammed

Well I will say after updated the maps on my 2016, an area near me that changed a great deal went from being wrong to being right... so I don't feel scammed.
