No way to get around it. I have ('14 SGS) the Custom Dynamics saddlebag lights, both the ones that run along the bottom and the turn/stop lights at the top rear of the bags. I just added a top box mounted turn/stop light (Kuryakyn sp?) that uses the same connector. I dread the day I have to change my battery. I got my trusty bag of zip ties and made it as clean as I could, and it looks a lot better. Stuffed some connectors down in hidey holes near the gas tank, and made sure nothing was pinched, stretched, etc. Looks a lot better, but it's not a big deal really.

Although I’m on an ‘07, the issues of wire management and multiple connectors is universal.
Having a removable Tourpack, I also have to leave enough room to tuck the TP harness, two speaker cables, old radio & CB antenna cables, etc under the seat.
I’m upgrading to a Rockford Fosgate receiver, and that will include an amplified antenna in the fairing, and eliminate the CB antenna completely. Those cables are going away.
I’m even considering a soldering project to parallel a few lighting wires together onto 1 of the in-line harness plugs to clean it up.

I’m adding bag speakers as well, so I’ve got to decide how I want to tie them into the harness so they are not tethered to the bike. Those connections will likely be in each saddlebag rather than tucked under the seat.

None of it is difficult to do, just time consuming to make it simple, user-friendly, and fully functional with the fewest # of bulky connectors.
