Picked it up for Mrs. HuntWhenever. ;) She bought her first motorcycle. She met me at home and took me back to the motorcycle shop to get the Sport Glide.

Love the looks of the SG but ergo/ride of he heritage. Ugh. Has anyone installed the handlebars from a heritage? How about a comfortable solo saddle?

Hey, that's great! I was just yanking your chain - I certainly don't care what you ride, but that did seem like an odd trade. Happy wishes to the Missus and her new wheels!

7k mile tire follow-up:
Still loving these Dunpol Elite 4's. They have had good traction in all conditions, handle tar snakes fairly well, and don't follow little grooves in the road like the OEM rubber. Wear life has been good despite the good traction. Here's a picture of the rear tire with 7k miles of wear. For reference, my OEM Scorchers were flat and slick down the middle at 7k. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...83fedb27d9.jpg |
I am considering a Sundowner seat but the gap between the seat and gas tank bothers me. I have seen posts where they say that if you work the material on the seat front the gap reduces till it is tiny. You have had that seat for a while. Has the gap gotten smaller due to use and the seat settling in? Looking at your pic, it is hard to see how big the gap is. Do you regret buying the seat? I want to buy Harley products because they are supposed to fit better than aftermarket.
