There is some videos on YT one I found very interesting and the guy has a different take on checking the oil on the M8s and always check hot or after running it for 30-40 seconds.I wish it was out when I had my Road glide, I would do exactly as you stated and was frustrated thinking it was using excess oil.

Oh yeah, traded my Indian Challenger for a new Heritage Classic! enjoyed the Challenger, not my local dealer. On the other hand my local HD dealer treated me like family and was not low balling me. Rode 125 miles and I could not be happier, it was above normal temps in Iowa and I really like the new frame and the 114. I will replace the weak links and just ride it, I don’t have to be king of the hill anymore and I’m very happy with the stock engine for now. I will not miss the big screen TV in the fairing, getting ready to retire and just enjoy life.

Welcome to the Heritage club! Yeah, I did my research online, by sitting on them and, of course two Demo-Days rides and a long weekend rental. I was looking at the late-model Heritage almost a year before I pulled the trigger. I got first-hand reviews since my wife purchased her 21 new and started me down that Heritage "rabbit hole" In a good way though.

Two years later with used 19, I am still extremely please with the ride and the comfort.

Thanks for the reply! I'm definitely considering that for a mod.

LuckyBoy06, I,m vertically challenged like you and like what you did to the shifter and brake pedal. Is the brake pedal pad have to be cut off ? Did you have to drill a hole for the bolt on the Kury pedal or are the holes there like the older ones ? I live close to you in Wooster, Ohio. Thanks for any replies.

Would anyone happen to know the part number or at least the thread pattern for the bolts that hold the passenger floorboards to the adapters and the adapters to the bike? My bike has saddle bag guards, and I just ordered a set of floorboards from ebay (I'm in Germany and it's quite difficult to get people to send stuff to a CMR). I have attached a picture of what I ordered, and it seems to be missing screws/bolts. I'd like to order the screws now, so I can fully install them when they get here.

There is a service kit #50501118 which includes 4-screws and the left and right footboard adapters. There are two longer and two shorter screws, you need the longer ones.
4519, 4693 (2) and 4202 are the numbers for the screws. The long ones are 4519 and 4202 .
You get lot of different parts with those screw numbers...?
