I like chrome 😃. My visor is a transitions shade. Never a problem personally.

I had the front and rear tires replaced on my 2018 Low Rider last week. Decided to go with the stock Michelin Scorcher 31 tires again. My old tires had about 1/32" of tread left to the wear bars, so decided it was time to switch them out.

Needless to say, the bike handles great now, and is ready for me to put some more miles on it.

So after almost a year of having a Low Rider, I finally ordered saddlebags from LeatherPros. They won't be here for a while but in the mean time, can anyone tell me what I need to remove the bolts from the rear fender strut? I've done some searching but couldn't find anything specific for this bike.

What I have found are some horror stories about how difficult it is to remove the bolts. I really don't want to have to fluck around with drilling and ****.

You'll need a T-45 Torx bit to get them out. They aren't in all that tight but they do have blue Loc-Tite on them to prevent them from vibrating out. Not a bad idea to Loc-Tite the new ones.

Thanks ss3964spd. The instructions on the Leatherpros site also recommended using blue Locktite on their bolts. I'll definitely do that.

Some of those rear fender bolts are a pain to get out, others come out with no problem. Just make sure the bolts you replace them with aren't too long, otherwise they'll scrape into your tire.

Don't know if you have to relocate the turn signals, but definitely break the fender bolts free before you loosen the fender struts.
