Default Floorboards on a 2018/2019 Low Rider?

My wife would like to put floorboards on her 2019 Low Rider. Harley doesn’t offer them but a quick internet search came up with a few aftermarket options (Thrashin, Kuryakyn, & Ciro). Anyone added floorboards to a new Low Rider? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Those are for replacement of the rear “passenger” pegs, not the front rider’s pegs. The same goes for the floorboard options you mentioned so that doesn’t help us with what we want to do.

The HD #50500696 is a chrome replacement for stock black parts, but you
might be able to get it to work. Exhausts or other "stuff" might be in the way too.

Dont see a "kit" to do exactly what you want so you'll have to be the pioneer
and "Do It Yourself".

good luck,

T.

I have the Thrashin' footpegs replacement floorboards on my Fat Bob. A bit pricey at something like $330 or so, but I absolutely love em. Pull off the footpegs, snap in the floorboards and go. But note they're a lot smaller than something like the Heritage stock floorboards, these are rightly called "mini" floorboards.

I went this route so I could easily swap back to pegs whenever I wanted, but after experiencing the boards, there's pretty much no way I would want to go back to pegs. Much more comfortable, with the same lean angle.

You are going to have to order stock brackets, boards, etc for a 2018 Softail Slim and install on your LowRider. Go to the Dealer and look at a Slim and compare to your LowRider and have the helpful parts person get the parts your going to need. Probably run you 3 to 400 dollars about what a kit would be if available. I have a friend with a 2019 LowRider that wants to do the same in a few weeks.

That's definitely an option. I have an '18 Slim so I'm going to have my wife ride it and see if she likes the forward control position. If so, then it should be relatively simple to swap out the Low Rider's mids for forwards on both sides. If she doesn't like the forwards and wants to keep the stock position then I'm leaning towards the Thrashin boards unless a better option materializes.

Need to correct my previous response. If you want floorboards to attach to original peg bracket for a LowRider with mid-controls, Thrashin Supply has a set,8"x3", that seems to have good reviews. At this time, since Moco doesn't offer a kit for forward controls and boards on the LowRider model, cost would be high to try a duplicate a Softail Slim by ordering all the parts needed individually.

I put these on my 2020 Low Rider S

Here is a picture. I'm not super wild about the looks, but they definitely made the riding position much more comfortable.
