Put the softie up in the air and removed complete exhaust system. Took my time , shop heated up, pretty enjoyable day off. I always have a helluva time figuring out how wiring plugs come apart without breaking them, but gotter done. Now it's the waiting game for the new ones' arrival. Boo!

One minor thing today. Swapped the chrome shifter for a black one off a street bob. Chrome was out of place since I replaced the primary, derby cover and pegs with black.

Looking forward to Friday though, which is when my Memphis Shades Cafe faring is supposed to be done getting painted midnight blue to match the bike. Probably not the smartest several hundred its costing, as in anything but bright light it looks black, not blue. But in the sun it'll sparkle!

I'll post it when I get it.

What wiring plugs could you possibly need to disassemble to remove your exhaust?? And what's coming?

Unhooking O2 plugs, Silly? Any of those automotive wiring plugs make me nervous I'm gonna destroy them getting them apart. It's a me thing. We're you unaware / unfamiliar with the sensors in the front and rear?

As for your second question, I'm not even going there. Too many haters and ******** chime in. I love the looks and talked to manufacturer for opinions on my set up. It'll all be good.

That’s funny. I would never have thought “figuring out how wiring plugs come apart” meant unplugging O2 sensor connectors lol. Yes, I’ve changed many, many exhausts on many bikes. Just never heard it said that way.

Short shots then I’m guessing. Hey, whatever works for you.

I don't wanna tie up the thread, but yeah. I've busted the lil locking tabs, dumb **** like that. Sorta hard to get ahold of without pulling on the wires themselves and yankin out out, etc. Glad we in the same page! And, YES shots. Everyone got thier thing. Everyone has them, etc. I just dig the hotrod look. The bike pulls like an ox with the slipons, won't be much different. I mostly ride alone, with only a couple of poker runs, nobody to prove anything to. If prevoked, well, I spoke I'd try, lol. I'm 60 yes old man. Developed a kiss my *** attitude along the way. You'll see. Lmao.

Added some Ciro 3D Fang LED turn signals. I like these because of the chrome bezel and it does not just replace the bulb with an insert. The stock lens covers are just awful!

Before

After

All lit up!
