Just saying that those dyno results confirms what my butt dyno feels... great performance with this pipe overall. The bike performs better than with the previous pipe I had on as well as the stock pipes. No delusions here of a stage 1 114 producing numbers like that. Haha

Eventually I'll be swapping the cam then even later down the road it will be turned into a 124" as well. Just taking baby steps at a time. Also gotta make it more comfortable first. Even with only the stage 1 it performs very well with the S&S pipe so I can't imagine how it will be with a new cam and even less so as a 124" monster! Can't wait though.
My mistake, this is a 128 ci. I knew you would not mistake those numbers for a stage 2 114. Simply letting you know it's a big bore and that this pipe leaves us room to grow and will handle more than a stage 2 build.
The biggest part of headwork is the valve job, it's what makes the power. Most M8 big bore builds I have seen either have stock heads or just a little work on the valve seats.

I am dropping the bike off with Darren Sheffer (Durwood) on the 21st of this month. Letting him do the cam install, clutch springs and tune. This will be the first time I have let anyone wrench on one of my bikes in any shape form or fashion, he is one of the few I trust to do so. He has tuned two for me, the bikes all ran smooth and cool with excellent power delivery.
I'd like to do this build on my 107.

I am sure you are aware that Darren has installed the CR-480 in two 107 ci bikes. Both had stock exhaust with slip ons and made a very good torque curve. Can't wait to see what my 114 with 2-1 pipe will do.

Gotcha. This is why I was thinking it may have been a 124". Either way good power and torque. It makes me more confident in my choice of pipe to see those results and that it performs well with big bore builds.

Wish we could see the chart better but it looks like it has a nice torque curve as well with no dips except the minor one at the very start of the run, so it seems the combo of the Superstreet and that cam do well together along with the other engine mods. Very interested to see the results of your stage 2 as well.

Yes I'm following his work.

I know you wanted a sound clip of the Cobra pipe but here are a few sound clips. Mine is the first post is the thread which shows the difference between stock pipes with no plugs in the baffles, Bassani RR 3 and S&S Superstreet. There are a few others but not many people posted to the thread.

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/2018-...our-pipes.html

Was trying to get a bunch of sound clips of different pipes for others to use while looking for pipes. Just didn't have many participants.
