New instrument cluster installed this morning while I waited. No fogging.

I just got back from the dealer when I took this video in my garage.

How easy (or hard) is it to remove the glass? Mine is streaked on the inside from condensation so I would like to clean it before drilling holes.

My understanding is it’s virtually impossible without damaging it.

I've had the new speedometer for about a month. So far no fogging. Wanted to wait a while before posting.

The new one does sweep when the bike is first turned on like in GalvTexGuy's video. Also the #2 trip meter ran backwards from 30 miles until it zeroed out then has worked normal. Dealer said that is perfectly normal. It is marrying itself to the bike. The only other thing I noticed is the LED numbers seem a little narrower than the original. Hardly noticeable, all good.

Very possible, if you are handy and have a lot of patience and watch very carefully what you are doing ...oh, and don't cut your fingers cos that metal edge is razor.

I did mine, and drilled holes ...but still fogs up

I haven’t had any fogging since drilling mine, even after washing the bike this week.

Mine fogged once after drilling but not since. Maybe was clearing moisture out.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I remember watching a video on YT years ago where a guy replaced the speedometer face. He used a little prying tool he got at a discount store to bend the flange out.

It's not the removal as much as it's reinstalling the crimped flange neatly. At the factory, it's folded over the gasket and flange with a die set. It's almost impossible to do at home and have it look unmolested when you're done.
