I sold it shortly after I sold the bike.

I have the Memphis shades for the 2024, and they fit fine.

Yes, if you use ones for 23.5+ models. The older Memphis Shades do not fit.

I have the hand guards installed on my RG and don't really see much difference in wind protection.

Really? That’s weird. I noticed a big difference. What windscreen do you use?

what about 'feel' ?

joking aside, I don't see how they couldn't offer some noticeable overall protection.....I'm thinking of adding them anyway

Not only they provide extra protection (yes, I can feel the difference, especially with temps under 45º) but they provide extra visibility as well:

I’m looking into the Klockwerks variant, but they are out of stock at the moment

I’ve run Memphis Shades hand guards on a Road Glide, where my hands were exposed on 12” bars, and a Road King where they are exposed at about any height.

My assessment is they are great, especially when traveling to protect your hands from bugs and rocks, but as an all season rider I didn’t find them to shorten the length of time before my hands got cold in cool/cold weather. Heated grips, heated glove liners resolve that for me. My hands are my weak link in cold.

I somehow have dodged riding in rain over the past 50,000 miles or so, except for once traveling down I-77 through VA three years ago, so I can’t really say how effective they are with rain, assuming you are wearing gloves, which I do year round.
