ok sweet now you guys have me rethinking buying the fatdaddys next and doing the shotguns instead around the same $$$'s I think. geeesh just when you think you have it all figured out

It really is a question of aesthetics or comfort. I perfer a combo of both, but as we all know it gets pricey to do it all at once. I got my air ride before I got my wheels, but I was already on set two of wheels at the time. And the first air ride was not the Shotgun. Take some time and think about it. What we need is someone with this shock riding around letting people try it so they can make their decision.

IMO...Shotgun Shock any day before wheels....

THat leaves me wondering about my bike. I believe the H-Ds shipped to Japan are set up like the ones in Calif. (e.g. - very strict on emissions), but I'm not 100% on that.

Look down under the rear of the transmission for a charcoal canister (black plastic round thing) and that will give you your answer. They are selling like hotcakes today. No kidding!

Every Softail should have Shotguns. It is the best mod you can do. Worth every penny. J.D. is fantastic to deal with. Great guy and great product
