I have ridden more with it. It is different than the Shotgun. It responds differently over big bumps and firms up much quicker. If I had a bike with abs I would not hesitate to put the SAS on it, but a bike without abs i would do shotgun.

Any more updates on the SAS? Has Shotgun made the installation possible on a Softail with ABS? BTW, good write up. Thanks

So which system is easier to change the tranny oil, or do you have to remove the whole shock system as with the legends 1 system.

Default Changing trans fluid on a softail with shotgunshock takes an extra 5 minutes

Just remove the two hex bolts securing the shotgunshock to front frame gusset and shock pivots into a vertical position, allowing access to trans drain plug, no need to remove shock from swingarm and air line and electrical plug stay intact.JD

Default ShotGun Shocks Update

Hello everyone, I installed the Shotgun Air Shocks on my 05 Fatboy and what a difference, I can control the ride height and the amount of cushion by flipping one or both toggle switch's. I had no problems with installation or air leaking out. It works Great & I am very pleased with the product. I am not affiliated in no way to Shotgun Shocks, I just wanted folks to know that it makes riding so much easier on older bones-Tim in MI
