99 FLHTC Radio
Hi guys,
I've tried looking everywhere I can think of, but I can't seem to find any information.
I recently bought a 99 FLHTC and it's got the old cassette radio in it. I'm OK with that, for now, but I'd like to know what the heck certain buttons do and all the functions it has (albeit limited I'm sure). I have the "Owners Manual" for the bike, but it doesn't have any information for the radio inside.
I think the part number for the radio is: 76164-98
But can anyone tell me what the LO/DX buttons do? What other combinations on the hand controls do?
I've figured out how to set stations, and how to adjust bass/treble/volume, and seek/scan functions....but I can't figure out what the heck LO/DX does lol
Thanks in advance!
P.S. - Yes, I'll be replacing it, but not yet. It's the end of the season and I'd rather not waste time working on the bike, I'd rather ride ;-)
