BT 7.1 Speakers
Well after waiting a month to have the bike built I brought it to the shop to have all the new stereo equipment installed. We installed Pioneers in HT lids, BT 7.1 up front, and a BT 4180 to push everything. Once we had everything installed I started it up and it sounded pretty good. 2 miles down the road on the way home the front speakers quit working? Well what I found out is just the tweeters were working. Im sure the speakers are bad? Has anyone else had this problem? They did sound good for 5-10 min..
Since I was supposed to leave for the BBB Rally today I think I am going to put some JL Audio C3-650s up front. Has anyone tried these speakers? Also, I will be returning the BT 7.1 today. When I get them back they will be for sale if someone wants them..

I have blew 4 speakers 7.1 and 7.1 pro. I talked to Bill from BT and he sent me new ones . What hu are you running? Bill told me the stock hu can blow the speakers fast. I was running sony now Kenwood. It take alot of time to dial your amp in with the hu . Call Bill he will walk you threw it . I found out it was the media I was using. Ever time I blew a speaker I was playing the same 3 songs . So I got rid of the songs all good now. To clear it up 4 speakers total not 4 of each. Call Bill and he will send one right out to you . It only takes a few day to get one.

Has NOTHING to do with the songs.......could be the quality of the music....what format are you using ??? MP3 , MP4, CD audio file ??

I know some of the earlier released CDs do not sound near as good as later ones. I have some from the early 80s that are digitally remastered but still the quality is no where near CD's purchased nowadays. Some of mine result in some clicking noises in my ipod that i believe is aliasing caused by the different sampling schemes used and their output is noticeably lower. Eventually I will replace them all.
