Default Infinity 62.11's into batwing of 2011 flhtk

I'm looking at some installs and I'm not seeing how these 62.11's fit in the existing spot. Do I need to buy an adapter? Please point me in right direction.

Also I got the Soundstream pn4,520d. Will this fit inside the batwing as well?

Yes you will need these adaptors:

Soundstream fits in the fairing right on top of the radio!

im assuming the amp goes sideways. i set it on top and tried to push it as far as it would go back towards the gauges and it seemed that the top corners of the amp were preventing the cover from mating correctly so i could bolt it back on. does any one have suggestions or pics of how this fitment is, because im also wondering how the wiring is accommodated.

thanks for the help

I installed the RZ4-2000D and Infinity 62.11's in my bike a few weeks ago. The Soundstream is the same size as the RZ4. It is a tight fit but it does fit, a little off and it doesn't fit. Make sure to push it as close to gauges as you can. I have the RZ4 butted up to the lip on the factory radio. At first I had it about 1/4" away from the lip and I could not put the outside fairing on. I installed the speakers using Arc Audio adapters. Everything fits without to much headache.

I wanted to see if I could block some of the RF interference and get FM reception back, so I tried a piece of 1x6 board between the amp and radio. It didn't help with the FM, but what it did do was raise the amp 3/4" and moved the RCA's back towards the rear of the bike. It's what you see pictured. Velcro on either side of the board, on the head unit, and on the amp. Doesn't budge, even after a 4500 mile round trip to Sturgis.

If I'm understanding your question correctly you will run a wire from the REM terminal located between the BATT+ and the ground terminal on the power side of the amp to the orange and white wire on the headlight harness. When you turn on your ignition switch the amp will power up with the radio. The wire from the amp to the headlight can be any color but it's typically blue.
