I’ve got the Sony DSX “210”. The 310 was with bluetooth and I don’t really need/use that. Got it from Newegg for 79.00 bucks. Well worth that price and the iPod tray is very convenient.

I prefer the KIV-BT901 mainly because it's a sealed front face. No CD which is fine with me as I don't use them.

BT streaming works perfectly fine for me both with my andriod phone/pandora and with my garmin zumo

USB is obviously going to be more stable if you have solid connections at all connection points. Take some pliers and squeeze together your USB connectors to make the fit as they say in german, goodntight then heat shrink them or electrical tape them to keep moisture out. USB normally gives you more control over the device also.

I have a pioneer in my car and the thing I like the most is hit the bluetooth option and goes right to the phone. The source will be the last I used Pandora or iTunes. No stopping and getting it turned on and such. Thats a feature I'm interested in. I think the Sony is over priced at this point $237 I believe. But maybe the Bluetooth has been improved? Like I said mine has to be 2 years old.

I have a Kenwood X998. I use BT exclusively and it works like a dream. It has front and rear USB ports, lots of color options. The only downside, that it will skip pretty easy if you hit a hard bump. I don't run the CD very much at all though. If I had to do it allover again, I would buy the same HU. Hope that helps...

Over half of the units mentioned are discontinued. We need you guys to update your units, then give us reviews before we buy.

Thanks

Sony MEX-GS610BT. And, Mduncan62 will be happy to know that it's not discontinued.
I'm way to lazy to type a review so here's a link review from Crutchfield:
