Is this because they don't actually put out enough power to interfere with the FM signal? We could have both issues tested and put to rest if someone actually had faith that his stuff would live up to all his own hype.

What misinformation was made in my original post? The title of the post is "Awesome News for D Class Amps That Interfere with FM" and not Awesome News for EVERY D Class Amp. There was good information going back and forth, then your post which had nothing to actual do with the original post except you sell a D Class Amp that is shielded. Trust me when I say I know more about EMI then you likely ever will. It was never mentioned J&M Amps Interfere with FM reception so what information was posted incorrect?

there was no sales pitch in my post about the amps, I was just setting the record straight about FM interference & J&M brand class D amplifiers, which I have had to do before with you guys, but evidently your memory is short ,,,,,

and in case you also have forgotten the fact the YOU GUYS do not own this forum ,,,, so it is not necessary to get your panties in a wadd every time I try and post relevant information here, or set the record straight about a particular J&M product AFTER you guys post incorrect information ,,,,,

remember ,,,, HD-Forums is NOT your personal BITCH BOARD ,,,,,

Just like your clear misunderstanding of the proper use of a comma, you appear to be as equally unclear as to the definition of a forum. Here's a link to help you out John.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/forum

If there aren't enough commas in the definitions for you to understand let us know and maybe we can be of help.
P.S. You are correct in that we don't own HD Forums. Here's a news flash for you. Neither do you! And since you have no idea of how this actually works. Here's a little more information for you to try your best to understand. While we don't own it, without the people who drive the traffic numbers, a.k.a. Us, the forum ceases to exist. So quit hijacking threads as if it were your own damn late night public access channel. Why not save yourself the continued embarrassment of having your unsubstantiated, unproven claims pointed out and keep them in your sticky where people might actually believe your Snake Oil pitch.

I'd be willing to bet the vast majority of his customers don't belong to any forums and are UNIMFORMED about what's really available in the audio world.

2010 Limited with some stuff!!

I'd say you would win that bet hands down Bates! I run into guys everyday who have no Idea there are audio forums available to get help. Most of them tell me. Really? "I'll have to check that out when I get home" LOL!

So has anyone else done this change and had success? I am going from a PBR X4 to something new, SS or PA and am very curious and was happy to see this when it came up. Sorry to interrupt the ongoing battle. Hope to see some good useful info come of this thread.

I believe AAWAV tried it this weekend without much of a change with his setup. Need to keep in mind there is allot of things that affect radio reception. With that said, there has to be something behind this or why would Custom Dynamics put in to an instruction. If I get time, I would like to call and see if someone at Custom Dynamics could explain why, what or how their load equalizer interferes with the FM signal. Not sure if they will talk about what's built in to their box or not, but worth a try at some point. I believe if someone is getting interference on their FM signal, this is well worth a try. The hardest part is getting the battery out which was not hard for me because I had tied a string around mine when I installed it last time. If you try this Kris, please let us know the outcome.

Sure will but it's snowmobile season where I live. I will post results in a few months when I get it home and in the shop.
