So how do the sound stream and ppi amps hold up in a bike fairing not being marine grade?

Hi - not really the right thread, but not sure where your concern comes from.
Fairing is covering all underneath, so same as all other non marine amps...
If you decide to try to off road into rivers, etc ;-) probably not a good idea. otherwise I would not have any concern...

Hello, I have a question. One of my items (Dashboard) uses a Boss 600 watt amp (MC420B). It is very loud and sounds good. However, it doesn't seem correct that it has 600 watts. Does anyone know the truth on this?

I know this is an older thread but thanks for the info. I just ordered the BT4180 and this thread answered one of my questions.

Fronts will be Biketronics BT7P1's and lids will be Biketronics BT479HT. Stock head unit. Yes I'm going with line levelers so go easy on me.

specs are correct, this is a beast and fits in up to 2013 Batwings.
Class D, so hit and miss FM reception.

SS PN 4.1000D (250W @ 2 ohm; 150W @ 4 ohm)
2 ohm: ~237Watt
4 ohm: ~140Watt

Current street Price: 180USD.
brother/sister of this amp, the PA RZ4.3000D, can be found online for 150 USD.
confirmed to fit in batwing fairing as well (Thanks Haze)

For me, this is the #1 amp I recommend if on a budget and want to run 6 or 8 speakers (keep in mind, when running speakers parallel, make sure you use 4 ohm speakers, like the Pioneer 6x9s, BTs, etc).

SS PN 4.1000D test results
will it fit 14+ fairing as well?
