Default Bluetooth adapter for radio?

Okay so I am looking for the best Bluetooth adapter to listen to music from my phone to the radio on the bike.

I have looked on Amazon, here, and went to Best Buy this week.

The ones on Amazon look decent and are decently cheap. Best Buy had one that was $40ish but while I was there went on line to look at reviews and they were so-so at best and said while it would play back music, it would eventually become quieter and it was flat music.

I am seeing what others recommend or use that is worth the money? Best options?

Thanks!

Brian

The best quality sound is going to come from a USB stick, Ipod or CD. Even if you have a HU that has Bluetooth integrated it doesn't sound as good as the previous three mentioned.

I use an Aluratek istream universal bluetooth adaptor I purchased at Best Buy on sale for 19.99 and used velcro to attach it right below the 3.5mm plug, works great!

You can look here on the next page or two as there was another thread about the same thing, some good info in there.

I bought the Alurtek from Best Buy yesterday and got it paired up but it would not play google music from my phone and when I streamed Slacker to it, it did work but was as flat and monotone as a dry teacher. Did I do something wrong? Is this how it is?
At this point I have the wife taking it back today.

Thanks!

I used a MPOW bluetooth adapter that sells on ebay , amazon, and best buy for $20. I pair it to my galaxy 5. THe charge lasts about 4hrs.

Certainly not the cheapest approach at $140. But, I had Iron Cross Radio add a bluetooth adapter to my radio. They specialize in updates and repairs to the Harley radios. I shipped by radio to them when I went on vacation, so I had no downtime. The adapter works great and sounds good. A total internal solution, with nothing external, is connected when you select the "aux" input.

I have been using a GOgroove Bluegate Bluetooth adapter for a couple of years now. They are like $25 on Amazon, then just velcroed it to the fairing, wired the charger up and works great.

Digging up an old threat I started. I am again searching this item and seeing if anyone has newer options? Maybe I give the Best Buy Alurtek another chance since I switched to Spotify. Just want more of a stereo sound than what I got last time.
