I found out the fuse amperage for the bike radio power is 15A, so I think I am safe to connect the power wires to the factory harness right?
I will appreciate more info about the illumination wire connection.

I powered the Orange/White illumination wire, and what it does is, it activated the Auto Dimmer of the HU display. There is an option to set the Dimmer ON/OFF or Auto, for the Auto to work the illumination wire needs to be powered.
I am not sure how am going to benefit from the Auto Dimmer, what do you think?

Good news, the head unit is installed and ASWC-1 was programmed successfully and handlebar buttons talk to the head unit now.
If you have Sony MEX head unit, read my post in the following link...

Last night the fuel tank was removed, ground and power cables with inline fuse have been laid down in the wire tray.
Now with the amp and HU, what would be the best audio settings to set?
Since I have a 4 channel but two speaker (for the time being) is it recommended to bridge the amp with the Kappa's?

OK, I just found out that bridging the amp is not recommended.
I am waiting for the best audio settings for the amp and head unit.

Is that because of the wattage limitations of the Kappas?

It's because the Kappas are 2ohm and the amp (as with most amps) is only stable at 4ohms in bridged mode.

Here's a
thread where Gann posted some setting for the Sony MEX-M70BT to get you started.
