Default PN4.520D FINALLY installed

Took me a few hours (being meticulous as I am....and trying to cut my finger off with a pair of scissors). Here are the pics of the install and a short video.

This is with JM older model 2ohm performance speakers. I got the JM Mounts on Ebay for 75.00 shipped and used Scotchlock tape (not velcro) to anchor the amp:
































Used the shelf to hide my BOMM and the harness from the Garmin Zumo Mount

Stang -

A couple observations. Let those speakers push some air man! Don't need the baffles in that location. secondly, if you purchase a set of infinity 62.11i speakers with that amp you'll notice a night and day difference in sound. Just my .02

The Infinity's will be next. Have a few bills that need to be paid first and have the wife's birthday, Christmas and then both of the kids birthdays.

As far as the baffles, those gave the JM's a little more bass response believe it or not (without the amp). I can try them without the baffles now, but it'll be a few days before I tear into the fairing again. Overall sitting still I am satisfied, BUT I know that I'll be buying the Infinity 62.11i's as soon as I can.

Thanks for the advice Between you, UN and a couple others I had a good experience because you prepared me.

Had the phone to close to the tank. Couldnt tell the difference in volume where it was.

Stanford did you adjust the gains with the volume set at 3/4, treble and bass flat, AND with the bike running? It gets loud pretty quick is why I'm asking. Sounds good too.

Not with the bike running. I used the DVM method outlined by UN. The speakers are 2ohm and I used his settings. All of the other settings on the radio were exactly as he suggested.


Actually now that I think about it the bass and treble were not flat, they were all the way down....I may have to go back in and readjust them....****!!!

You still need the bike running I would think. I've always set them by ear but that's just me. I feel I get better results. The way the volume jumped so quickly is what caught my eye.
