Default PN4.520D FINALLY installed

Took me a few hours (being meticulous as I am....and trying to cut my finger off with a pair of scissors). Here are the pics of the install and a short video.

This is with JM older model 2ohm performance speakers. I got the JM Mounts on Ebay for 75.00 shipped and used Scotchlock tape (not velcro) to anchor the amp:

Used the shelf to hide my BOMM and the harness from the Garmin Zumo Mount

Stang -

A couple observations. Let those speakers push some air man! Don't need the baffles in that location. secondly, if you purchase a set of infinity 62.11i speakers with that amp you'll notice a night and day difference in sound. Just my .02

The Infinity's will be next. Have a few bills that need to be paid first and have the wife's birthday, Christmas and then both of the kids birthdays.

As far as the baffles, those gave the JM's a little more bass response believe it or not (without the amp). I can try them without the baffles now, but it'll be a few days before I tear into the fairing again. Overall sitting still I am satisfied, BUT I know that I'll be buying the Infinity 62.11i's as soon as I can.

Thanks for the advice Between you, UN and a couple others I had a good experience because you prepared me.

Stanford did you adjust the gains with the volume set at 3/4, treble and bass flat, AND with the bike running? It gets loud pretty quick is why I'm asking. Sounds good too.

Not with the bike running. I used the DVM method outlined by UN. The speakers are 2ohm and I used his settings. All of the other settings on the radio were exactly as he suggested.

Actually now that I think about it the bass and treble were not flat, they were all the way down....I may have to go back in and readjust them....****!!!

You still need the bike running I would think. I've always set them by ear but that's just me. I feel I get better results. The way the volume jumped so quickly is what caught my eye.
