Haze I like seeing the vids as well. I really couldn't tell much difference at all in the first 2. Little more depth from BT's. The last video was a pretty decent improvement. Still think amp and HU settings need tweaking. Biggest thing to me is, guys really need to shoot their videos out in the open. Shooting the vids inside a box isn't doing them any favors.

2010 Limited with some stuff

The first song was off my son's usb stick. I asked for something that had some punch. I must admit the HipHop showed mid range quality with BT. I can really hear definition in the 7.1pro's.

Remember only 2 fairing speakers are playing (that's all I have) so I'm happy with the direction I'm going so far.

Question for Haze---do the Pros bring that much better of a sound quality over the non-Pros? I'm really leaning towards the standard 7.1's from a price standpoint
Just sharing the 2 cents that BT provided me, but Bill indicated that I should go with the standard 7.1s because I would ultimately be limited by my 2014 Infotainment HU thus would not be able to reach the full capacity of the Pros. Not sure what HU you are using but this HU factor might be something to consider as you work thru that decision.

Using settings from haze. Snowing outside but I opened the garage door.

CV B52 will be here on Monday so I'll follow up with a set of videos outside playing the B2, then the B52. I would be happy to use a song everyone is familiar with. Send one to me if there is a way or a link to a place to download.

Almost there!! I'll PM you with phase 2 of the tuning for when u get the b52.

You need a song with range that has a good low end.

Tupac California
Big Pun
Slick Rick

All hip hop classics.

Now a video with haze tuning version 2. Had the door closed so I don't **** the neighbors off any more. The EQ setting dropped on the 3rd and 4th all the way to the bottom and everything else came down a good bit. I can turn the volume up about 5 clicks more for the same sound level so I need to adjust the gain again to the 75% suggested by the audio guru's.

I do have one layer of poly-fill around each speaker and a dynamat type product (Brown Bread) on the fairing just behind the speakers. I wonder if I need more of either since the fairing is starting to come alive when I really crank it. Suggestions?

BTW The speaker magnet on the clutch side is leaving a slight impression on the matting, not much but it's touching for sure.

Don't want to hijack the thread here, but I need to clear up a post I made earlier about the BT 7.1's. I had them wired wrong, here's a thread about it... https://www.hdforums.com/forum/audio...l#post14618205

Sorry to interrupt, but that needed fixing.

B52 installed and starting to tune. Nice option is the gain remote so I can make changes without removing the fairing. The wire connectors are correctly wired out of the box. I used the installed ones already in place. Same size amp as the B2 so simple swap.

Did you already sell your B2 amp?
