CV B52 wiring help?
I get that the striped wires are negative. I hooked the striped wires from the aftermarket harness I bought to the striped wires on the B52 provided connectors. But, the connectors/sockets on the amp don't seem to follow this theme?
Here's a pic of the input side, notice it says GROUND at the top..
Now here's a pic of the CV provided plug, notice the ground wires are at the bottom...
Now the output side, notice the L/R + and - are diagonal from each other on the socket....
And the plug, notice the negative wires are at the bottom, positive at the top...
It would seem that by following the striped to striped/solid to solid scheme I have it wired wrong? The plugs don't seem to match the sockets in polarity.

Move along. Nothing to see here...
Because of the plug issue I had them wired the opposite of each other. Whereas I had the bass 2 bars from max before, I now have it 1 bar from centered, and it POUNDS lol.
Volume is quite a bit louder than before, I had to turn down the gain on the B52 a bit. Now I see what everyone was all excited about with the BT speakers.
On a side note, just to muddy the waters a bit...
Out of curiosity I checked the Polks I recently put in the rear pods. They do not follow the striped is negative theme, just the opposite. You can't put the wires on backwards 'cause the terminals are a different size. This is the factory harness...
Now to go track down that other post I made & fix it....
