Default 14 streetglide stereo?

Hey guys I have a couple questions. I have a 14 street glide I'm trying to set up with decent sound. I tried out the cycle sounds amp and 6.5 fairing speakers first. That was about as good as the factory set up. Now I have a PBR300x2 amp and Polk audio speakers. This set up is very loud and clear, but no bass at all. I just got a set of focal K2 165 KRC's but haven't installed yet. Rather than mounting in the pod I'm thinking about getting the biketronics bracket. Is there any advantage sound wise to this? Also is the BT line leveler worth buying? Any other advice here? I'm simply trying for a good sounding 2 speaker set up. Would a different amp be beneficial? I followed the JM procedure for resetting and flashing the stereo. That helped but still no bass. I also have the equipment to do a flash myself if needed. Thanks for any help

If u want to end the madness, get the BT brackets, the BT Line Levelers, Dynamat the outer fairing, flash to zero amps, and HU update to 19.1 or prior then ride on!!!!
Make sure u set the gain on the Line Leveler to about 12:30 to 12:45 on the gains and leave the HPF at the default settings.
Do all that and the KRCs will deliver.

Just installed the BT brackets today and the Focal EC165KS (krc replacements) really woke up from being in the pods. I'd say they are worth it. Also I've tried the different flashes and the BT355 with no amp 4 speakers has been the best overall for me. Currently running 1.19.2 software as well.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll try to get the LL and brackets ordered today. If the PBR wouldn't perform the best here what would you guys recommend? I'd like to keep costs reasonable but at the same time I'm not afraid to spend the money to get what's gonna work. Last thing lol. Is there a preferred vendor here for this stuff? Or better to go straight to manufacturer? Thanks again for the help

If your wanting to keep costs down a bit I suggest this lil jewel. Packs a pretty good punch.

Excellent. I'm on the same sled and have ran the same speaks. The BT Line Leveler is a must for that sled unless u want to jack with all of these different HD Flash scenarios, or get an external EQ.

Think u will get really good sound with the BT LL, the BT Bracket, and Dynamat on the outer fairing.

As for the amp, before u move on an amp, do you ever plan on adding to this current 2 speaker audio platform? Lids? Lowers? CV B52 has some damn good juice but 2 channel so u can eventually run an additional set of lids speaks with it in parallel but the SPL will have to be similar and u won't have front - rear fade control.

Just making sure, so u don't have to back the bus up if lids or lowers is on a wish list.

I'm not planning on additional speakers anytime soon. Just trying to get good clean sound for the road. I listen rock and like to jam it sometimes lol. Did the dynamat make a big difference? I remember that stuff being thick and bulky but haven't used it for years.
