Default Saddlebag Midbass

2014 Electra Glide. I am currently running a pair of RF 300x2 amps with an 8 speaker Infinity/Polk parallel setup (fairing/lowers/lids/tourpak). It rocks. I have been really happy with the way the component Kappas have anchored the sound to the fairing. Volume is not lacking, only complaint I have overall low freq response missing at highway speed. I realize with the exhaust note of my Rineharts that true low freq response is not possible and I am not going to throw good money at bad. What I am hoping for is some good midbass. I think I am finally at a point where I'm willing to give up a little saddlebag space. Seems like a lot of options out there. Looking for some first hand knowledge/feedback as it relates to 80-250hz response:

1) Pair of 6x9"
2) Single 8" sub
3) Dual 8"
4) 8" pro drivers (I ride year round, not wild about pulp cones on a motorcycle)
5) Single 10"

a single 10 isn't enough, I wouldn't do 6X9's they don't get loud enough, a single sub is tricky because you want to have the right sized enclosure. I think your best option is dual DD W8's, one in each bag.

Can you mount two 8" in a single bag? Is there enough enclosure space?

Why not (2) 10"? One in each bag.

2 10's with the right ones will always have more impact. 2 8's per bag will also sound as good,BUT I personally think the 10's manage the airspace better than 2 8's per bag.

Any recommendations for the mid-bass speaker and amp?
2-ch or 4ch amp?

I want to say the 10" will have to go either in the middle of the saddlebag wall or the front. An 8" barely fits at the back of the bag. So im thinking you are gonna lose alot more space than u think, if u do a 10".
