Default Amp and Speaker Upgrade

Since I have my 2003 Electra Glide Classic apart for a Bar install, I'm thinking about swapping out the 12YO HD Radio Sound Amp and Unknown speakers for something better. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money but would like to move to something newer.

Amp:

How much are you looking to spend on this? That'll help the guys out with recommendations.

Just think...14yrs ago this setup was the *****.
OP are you going to swap out the antique radio as well? Give us a realistic budget and how many speakers you're wanting to run.

Still works too....

Right now after spending about 2k in maintenance and some needed upgrades I plan to keep the Stock Head unit. I want to keep it to just the 2 faring mounted speakers and I would like to spend no more than 300 bucks. I'm not looking for super high end just nice clean sound!!

Keeping FM narrows down your amp choices tremendously. You have one crappy one that I never recommend that will maintain FM that falls within your budget. The rest of the amps available that'll allow you to maintain FM will eat your budget as a snack. Your call bud.
If losing FM isn't an issue then the door is wide open.

Edit: I've never seen one lose FM completely. Just doesn't have the range it did before.

One of the best Bang for the buck setups is the Cerwin Vega B52 pushing the Kappa 62.11. And it's well within your budget.

So I assume the class D amp kills the FM correct?
