I have a 2016 street glide special and I am trying to stream Pandora while charging phone with USB cable in storage compartment. Can't get it to stream thru music. What am I doing wrong

I just bought a 2016 Road Glide this week and the salesman told me that I would not be able to stream via Bluetooth while my iPhone is connected to the USB port. I have not tried it though, I'm just going off what he told me.

That's correct.
The charging cable in the storage compartment is also hard wired to the radio and will only play music downloaded on your phone or device. (while plugged into that cord ) No Bluetooth while plugged into that stock plug. I was thinking about adding a second charging cord that would just charge the battery and not be hooked up to the stock radio.
