Aquatic AV stereo and Hogtunes amp
Hi everyone, I just upgraded my 2010 Street Glide stereo with the Aquatic AV AQ-MP-54BT-H model. I had a friend do the install. I told him if the brand new Hogtunes amp was compatible to hook it up. He said it was and its hooked up. I don't have much of a musical ear. It sounds great to me. Has anyone used this set up or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your replies.

That hog tunes amp has nowhere near the power to push those speakers bro. The aquatic speakers are 90 watts RMS meaning they can take 180 watts all day long. The hog tunes amp is only pushing about 50 watts to those speakers. You need a more powerful amp. A Cerwin Vega B52 or a JL HX280/4 would be a better fit for those speakers.
