Could these handle an amp or would I be better off going with something else. Say kappa 62.11? Amp would be pbr300x4
Dont even waste your time or money trying to figure it out. PBR300x4 is not the amp you want. If FM is no issue, try the SS PN4.520. If FM reception is an issue, try the PBR300x2 and use it to run 4 speakers if you must. I can tell you from experience...the PBR300x2 coupled with the kappas will make one hell of a sound experience.
Do you run 4 speakers off of the 2 channel pbr? Bridged? I have 13 ultra limited just 2 speakers in fairing and 2 speaker pods. I thought the 4 channel was the way to go?

Yes, you run 4 speakers off that amp. If the speakers are 4 ohm, you run them in parallel (both "+" on the speaker to the "+" on the amp). If the speakers are 2 ohm, you run them in series ("+" on amp to "+" on speaker one..."-" on speaker one to "+" on speaker 2..."-" on speaker 2 to "-" on the amp). This setup of course is done to each channel. So, your two right speakers will go to the right side of the amp and vice versa for the left side. Or, you can get a 4 channel amp and just plug each speaker into its own channel. I have done both and I havent had any issues with either method.
I believe that the Infinity's are 2 ohm speakers so if you go with the pbr300x2 (a great amp choice) you will need 1 amp for each pair. Unless like Eshaw mentioned, the PN4.520 would be a great choice for a 4 channel amp if FM signal isn't a priority. FM loss doesn't happen to everyone, but it does to some.

He can actually run two pair of speakers off that amp if he chooses. He would just have to keep em in series if he chooses the kappas.
That would only be 50 watts per channel.....DON'T do that !!
Is FM radio a deal breaker ??
Actually it would be about 90 watts per speaker. You know those PBR300x2s consistently put out about 180-190 watts per channel...even tho they're only rated at 150 per channel. Of course im talking 2 ohm. Is my math incorrect???
Yes, incorrect....if you wire them in series, the load is 4 ohm. The PBR 300/2 only puts out 100 watts at 4 ohm, divided by 2 speakers , = 50 watts per channel, give or take a few watts !
