Question 2 very basic questions about Boom speakers. Help a dummy out.

As the title says I have 2 basic questions about Boom Audio speakers.

2014 Street G

I have an opportunity to pick a pair up real cheap. Will there be much of an improvement in sound? I know aftermarket with an amp would be best, but its not in the budget right now.

Also, they won't have the grills that originally came with them. Will the stock grills work or do i need to buy a set? In beginning to wonder if the Boom grills are the same just without the grill cloth & with the logo added.

I wouldn't do it. The difference you get on sound would not be worth the effort or bloody pod knuckle.

Dude, do your self a favor and DONT do the boom crap. Save up for when you can afford to throw a amp and speakers in the fairing.

OK, but what about the grills? Even if I go get some Infinity Kappas, will I need them?

kappas will require an adapter on the inside and you can use your existing grills
