I know it never does the real sound justice but it still fun to hear.

I'll try, problem is I play everything through my phone, the wife took a vid on her phone last night but it's too big to text me. I'll get a shorter one.
download the video to Dropbox and share a link.

I and looking to replace SS with SD 800 4.d EVO - hope the clarity/crispness is what I achieve
any comments or suggests are welcome - thank you in advance.
How did you set this up, after installation? Did you run a test tone and tune it for the correct wattage?

Thanks for the response - to answer a couple of q’s- all items were brand new (amp, speakers and LL) - I did not touch adj on LL. I set HU no speed volume, bass and treble mid range and set volume at approx 75% to adj SS amp. I set amp to HPF, adj crossover to approx 11 and gain to approx 10. The spkrs were connected to front channel only (not bridged). Once again - loud but not crisp -somewhat muddy.
Not to stir up another forum rat’s nest BUT I am curious if the enclosures should be ported.
At this point of frustration - I am contemplating replacing the SS amp with the BT2180.14 (as I have an ‘18 SGS).

You might possibly be able to get just a touch more clean low mids in the mix by adjusting the LL an RCH but it's not going to be miraculous as those speakers are just not extremely warm to begin with. Very nice speaker on the road but in the garage it's just not gonna pound out the serious lows so manage ur expectations accordingly.

just an FYI the focal amp does not have full or all pass only HPF or LPF, I left it in high pass and crossed it about 80, which is pretty much where I had them, I did use the 12db slope, maybe 6 would be better? And the LL are where you said they should be, sounds great imo. Need to ride it now and fine tune some more
