I really cannot believe ur having a prob with these. Lots of dudes claiming this is the best coax of all time.

Ah gotcha. Yeah that’s the reason I went with them because of the positive reviews. I’m gonna slap a pair in a 2012 SG with the same amp and dsr1 to compare. I did play around originally with the crossover and lowered it but didn’t seem to do much. Hell maybe they’re out of phase but pretty sure I checked that
Is it due to the smaller airspace with those factory pods? The engineer at Beyma was saying they flat out wouldn’t perform in those. That they needed twice the airspace.
Are you running them in mono off a pair of channels on the stinger? If so I would bridge the amp to the woods and put the horns on a micro amp. Mono doesn't sound good on the main speakers in your setup IMO.

So yes 4ch amp. The mid 8ohm drivers are bridged and the 8ohm horns are bridged. Both horns and mids are running mono. That way I can give them 175w RMS a piece rather than 50w RMS.
I don't see how u can beat a really nice woof paired with a damn clean set of horns if u can control the shix out of the horn.
Something ain't right here though. That the first neg review I have heard of these.

Well I guess I could run everything stereo then to try. It would be 4, 8 ohm speakers basically on a 4 channel amp designed to run 100x4 at 4 ohm. So I’m assuming I’d get like 50x4 with that setup at 8 ohms. Desperate to try anything as these were expensive speakers.
