Default new system

I have been watching and trying to keep up but the time has come to get serious. I am looking for advice on the best options for a under $1000. I want to do a amp, fairing, lowers and tour pack speakers. Im thinking about using the biketronics wiring harness and line levelers but any info on speakers and amps as well as how you mounted in the fairing would be greatly appreciated. The bike is a 2016 ultra

Are you expecting to get an amp, 6 speakers, line levelers/breakout harness, lower pods, and wiring all for $1000? If so that is not going to happen. You could get 4 speaker in your stock locations for that for sure though.

Do you have the BT355s + Breakout harness or are you gonna use a different build strategy?

I would plan on using the BT Line Levelers unless u have a local shop is VERY knowledgeable about HD flashes and has a machine to get creative OR ur gonna move towards a pretty complex setup and might prefer a DSP for EQ purposes. OR an aftermarket HU. Note, I have an aftermarket HU and really not doing back flips regarding the broader functionality other than a solid audio signal & google maps.

Breakout harness is a bulky and expensive piece of wiring that is not needed in any application. Save the money and the valuable real estate in your fairing.

Edit:
And if you're dead set on putting one in, I'll ship you the one I bought then took out of mine

Totally agree. But I do think the most desirable trait of the Breakout is the plug and play ability to utilize the OEM speaker wiring. If u don't mind the cutting of oem wires or running new wires to the bags or TP then just get the BT Line Leveler.

@cpbedor Im not totally dead set on having to use the breakout harness i do like the plug and play part. Then again any money i can save in the wiring section is more i can spend o speakers and amp
